I saw an online ad on Facebook for some laying hens from what appeared to be a nice chicken farm. I messaged the farm and got an immediate response inquired about pricing for chickens and shipping at $20 apiece and shipping per my ZIP Code at $55 payment made we’re going to be shipped supposedly receive the next day or the day after I was fine with that several hours later they sent me a picture of the back of their vehicle full of chicken feed and requested $100 for the shipping crate that was supposedly refundable when shipped back when I asked why this wasn’t mentioned prior to the payment he said it’s standard. I’ve never ordered chickens before it didn’t sound right to me trustworthy I sent the hundred dollars via cash app same way I sent the payment and it was declined under suspicion. I screenshot it it and sent a copy to this person he told me I probably didn’t have money in my bank account. I tried again just in case it didn’t go through either won’t get that $200 back until Wednesday told him I would prefer a refund since I was already out $200 at the moment plus the 175 for the chickens and he refused told me it would cost him $89 to do that and he would not went back-and-forth with that and he still refuses. I told him I would take matters into my own hands. He said I dare you I said OK and so now I’m contacting whoever I can to let the word be out of the scam he turned from kind to extremely rude towards the end, even sent me a new statement, but for another customer with their address, phone number, and all their personal information on it. I don’t believe he realizes that he sent it to the wrong messenger account. I did make a screenshot of all correspondence through messenger with him as well as website information cash app, information request for a refund, etc..
