Type of a scam Debt Collections
We contacted Wells Fargo and they have no record of us owing them any money. We checked our credit report there is nothing on our report regarding this company. We checked online typing in there phone numbers to google and there are others who have similar stories.
Here's another story I found online:
This number is for the "law firm" from the Langston Bradshaw and Associates Website.It seems phony to me. I got a call from a guy looking to collect from my daughter . I got my daughter to call back in to 888-212-4939 and spoke with "Larry Gray" about a debt paid in 2011. This is not a real debt collector and he violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in several ways, including faking that a lawsuit had been filed. I called the above number off the website and got the same lady who answered the other number answering as "Vista Towers" I gave her the case number given to my daughter and she had my daughter's name. I asked if it was a real law firm and she said yes, so I asked to speak to a lawyer. She said no, only my daughter could talk to anyone. I asked her if she was a fraud and she said I was making assumptions and hung up on me.
