After car accident, a tow truck arrived from Metro Freeway Service Patrol. Since I did not have a particular place for the car to be towed, they recommended LA Auto Collision & Inspection. When I called to get information on my vehicle the next day, they told me that it would cost $2090 CASH ONLY to have my car released. No repairs were made. It seems Metro Freeway Service Patrol is an approved service of the CHP, but are in collusion to receive kick-backs from this "inspection" company.
