The caller indicated that a sealed legal document or property complaint would be delivered to my family member. They knew the property address and stated they would be arriving in an hour. I told them it sounded like a scam and he said, “If it was a scam I would be trying to get info from you. I’m trying to give you info.” They gave a case number with “Kleinberg Legal Services” and an 844 phone number. The person at “Kleinberg” said my family member was being pursued for a debt and they were putting a lien on their property. When I replied there is a statute of limitations for past debt, they said “good luck” and hung up.
