Got a phone call from an "Aditya Singh" about a job opportunity in my field (Aviation) as an Aeronautical Engineer. I do not have an engineering degree. The scam was very targeted and sophisticated in that "Aditya" seemed to know a lot about the aviation field and said that my experience made me a "shortlisted" candidate they wanted to hire immediately. I was skeptical but I have been searching for work so I continued to listen to him talk. He had a very strange way of talking - he would say a sentence and then say "Alright okay? - then after I replied "Yeah, right". Long story short, he told me that there was online training required and they required a $600 "deposit" to prove that I wanted to continue with them at which point I ended contact with them. The company exists on Glassdoor, who did not seem interested in removing their profile.
