Fake company trying to purchase.
Similar Experience with "Jon Wood" Scam Attempt
I responded with a price sheet and the following day received the message below which made me suspicious. A quick search of the email address [email protected] led me to scampulse.
"I'm OK with the cost of $3,899.00 USD. I would like to have 3 pcs, What is the total cost for that quantity included freight cost.
What will be the lead time to get them ready or is it something you stock.
Do you accept credit card payment and also allow freight pick up at your location to the destination address please advice thanks."
I responded to "Jon's" email with a lead time and freight cost to which they quickly emailed back:
"Thanks for the quote.I will like you to contact the Shipping Company and arrange for Pick Up and Delivery. Below is the information to contact the Freight Company.
Britex Freight Ltd.
Contact Name:Jim Moore
Contact Email: ([email protected])
Email them with the information below:
1. Weight and Dimension of Shipment if available
2. Pick Up Address
3. Delivery Address which is stated below:

I replied to this email stating I would reach out to Britex with the weight and dimensions and included a link "Please use this payment link to process your payment" which was actually a link to this scampulse page.
"Jon" responded:
"I'm on my business trip that is why i want to move on with this order but I would like to make both charges payment together with my credit card for the first time making order with your company and i want you to go ahead and handle me the freight company on behalf on my client who i'm making this order ,Kindly please let me know if you want this order to continue and moved on for me to make ready for the full charges payment let me know as soon as you hear back from Britex Freight Ltd I will be making full payment today.
