Employment Scam

I applied for a job on Jobs2Careers and was texted by someone claiming to be from Hire Standard Staffing. I did the Zoom meeting overview and the interview and was told I'd have to purchase state licensing which according to the website for Hire Standard Staffing they do not communicate through text message.
Hey (first name), this is Rose, one of the Recruiting Coordinators at Hire Standard Staffing! I was just reaching out to get you scheduled for your final interview - do you have a minute to get that done? Via text message

During my job search I received an email (03/19/2024) from Deville Matthew ([email protected])

"Hello from CITGO Petroleum Corporation Contacting you for employment with our company in regard to your resume posted online. For the following position: Administrative assistant online job from home. you will earn $25.00 p/hr. During training and $50p/hr. after a training session part time /full time. Your resume has been reviewed by the HR board and you have been selected for an interview. Kindly reply to indicate yes/no if interested." I replied yes. I then received an email from the same name and the same email.

"You are required to download skype Messengerhttps://www.skype.com/en/from your mobile app store right away and contact Mrs. Kresha Sivinski on skype via live.

:. cid.280e25d0eaa8e3e2 or use this link https://join.skype,com/invite/Daobtu8szcde to join. she will be available anytime to provide you with more briefings about yr. company profile, job duties and to conduct the interview. kindly get started as soon as possible..." I downloaded skype and the supposed Mrs. Kresha Sivinski was there live and requested we meet in the am on skype at 8:00 am central standard time" I replied yes at 5:34 pm Tuesday March 19th, 2024.

Ater the skype chat i wet to the CITGO MOBILE CORPORATION WEBSIT, TO LEARN THAT IT WAS FAKE AND ANY EMAIL THAT CAME FROM THE REAL CITGO

Mobile Corporations email would end with citgo.com absolutely no exceptions. so, i will not be meeting with the scammer on skype at 8:00 am on March the 20 2024 but it sure would be nice if the ScamPulse.com did.

I hope this helps someone else from being scammed by losers.
