The business uses a third party thru Microsoft Teams. The"interview" process is thru Microsoft Teams. They send an offer letter with a W4 to fill out afterwards. Once done with that they let you know they're going to help set up an office space for you by sending you a check via mobile. I scanned the check and it deposited most of it. The interviewer had me venmo $1,000 for a computer with the proper software. The next day the deposit declined and I was -$1,000 in one of my accounts. He tried getting me to do another one so I spoke with my bank and they told me it sounds like a scam.
