Call claiming the IRS is getting ready to file a lawsuit against me. (What a joke) Have to call the above number to give them more info so they can stop the lawsuit

- Midland, TX, USA

Caller stated he was with the IRS, and that I had 4 major charges pending, and if I did not resolve this matter, I would be picked up by local authorities. Caller Identified himself as John Green, badge Id# GS2150. The phone number used was 903-740-4822

- Elyria, OH, USA

I received the call at work (one of my responsibilities is answering all incoming calls). No one person was asked for. It was a robocall that states the IRS is in the process of prosecuting you unless you call them back. Caller ID shows Albion, IN. Number shows as 260-239-6653. If you call the number back as suggested...they ask you what number called you & then they ask for your first and last name so they can pull your case file. That is about as far as I got with them because I told them they were liars. The IRS will NEVER call you & shame on them for trying to scam people!! They hung up on me.

A female voice said I was being sued by the IRS. knowing that the IRS does not use the phone, I hung up and immediately checked recent calls for the number.

IRS called my boyfriend and said he owed money, and he would be arrested. She asked for his birth date. She said he had 2 warrants in FL. She said to turn himself in. She asked for his location. Officer Kim Dazo.

- Church Point, LA, USA

I got a phone call from the above number saying they were with the IRS and a warrant had been issued for my arrest. To settle this issue I should at once call the number to get a resolution. Of course, I did not call the number but wanted to report to you so that others will know.

- Beaverton, OR, USA

The phone number by 206-736-7096 called me out of Seattle saying I miss entered my tax information and that I will have a warrant out for my arrest within the next 24 if I don’t choose one of the following options: fight the IRS in court in Washington D.C. keep in mind I am from the west coast.... or my second option, deal with it out of court by going to Walmart target Best Buy and they would direct me to what I need to do to pay them... and then I explained to the guy that I was at work and couldn’t do it right then and there because I was at work and he explained that I could take a 30 minute break and I said I couldn’t and that I had to go and he said that if I hang up then a warrant would be issued for my arrest... then I got another call right after from a New York area code saying it was the IRS

- Church Point, LA, USA

Message left on vm to call back due to arrest warrant being issued by irs due to fraud on 2011 income tax. Told me I was going to federal prison and would have a trial. Where I could receive 10 years in a Alaska federal prison or face up to 35000 in legal fees if I didn’t take care of 4000 dollars that I received back in 2011

- Dallas, PA, USA

I am receiving numerous automated calls from this number, and they leave a voice message with number to call. When I called it said it was the IRS. I immediately said to take me off their calling list, they said that they couldn't. Again I called back and asked for a supervisor. I was told that the person answering was, so I told him that I requested to be taken off list and that I was going to report the number, he said You do that...... I am still receiving calls.....

They tried to convince me that I owed the IRS money on agricultural income that I had received in prior years. They tried very hard to not let me hang up and to think about the conversation. The government does not call for an indebtedness, they send letters!

Called and left a voice mail saying that they were suing me. Called back and spoke with an Indian woman who got scared when I started asking questions so she hung up. Called back again and was cussed out by a middle eastern man telling me he was going to kill me.
