SCAMMER: Investigative Unit

This morning I walked out to my car and found the same "Investigative Unit" card I see everyone is posting. Before I even called, I googled and came across this site. I live in a GATED community! This person came in the middle of the night because I was home at about 10:17 p.m. and there was nothing on my car. It's scary to think these people are getting past security, roaming around our community in the middle of the night and trying to scare/scam people! They must be stopped!

Woke up this morning to this card shoved in my car door. Called the number and no answer. Googled the card and number only to find this page and that I'm not the only one this has happened to. I think they tried to get in my home last night around 1:00 a.m. My wife and I heard someone jiggle the doorknob but when I went to look there was no one there. I hope they have got right with God cause if they open this door they on an express ride to meet him. Be safe out there people. If you see something like this on your car don't touch it with your bare hands and don't call the number, it's either a scam of some type or a kidnapping attempt. This was the same night as the eclipse and that only makes it that much more strange. Stay vigilant out there, someone is always watching, waiting, scamming. Don't fall victim next. It can happen to anyone.

JUST MOVED TO VERO LAGO IN VERO BEACH no longer than 4 days ago, I went out tonight, then came back and saw by my car's driver's door this same card y'all have been running into. Im afraid of my safety, Had to call in the cops but they were not able to do anything, any suggetins regarding this matter?

Hi my Wedgefild friends be carful my husband received a ring notification this women left a fake investigator card at my door tonight 8:50 pm . I called the number did not get a response just a recoding. I decided to Google the information.and they are scammers I’ll Share the link

Call and ask for their fax # and say you're sending your payment info... then send a page stating YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED TO CEASE AND DESIST ANY AND ALL COMMUNICATIONS WITH ME. YOU ARE NOT TO VISIT OR CALL MY HOME AGAIN OR YOU WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW! YOU ARE VIOLATING SEVERAL OF MY RIGHTS AND I HAVE CONTACTED THE FTC AND THE POLICE FOR MY SAFETY SECURITY AND AS A RECORD OF MY DEMAND.

At 11:50pm , scammer shows up to my door. Driving a Corolla with a fake license plate leaving fake investigations card, claiming they were Lyft. Be aware of these type of scams do not give them any information . None of the case number was pulling up at police department , known scam around area , be aware of these scams and don’t give no information

Yesterday around 3:30 this lady in a white car came to my door and tape this card on my door. Call the number only music playing and then voicemail ask to leave message, cld the number again 3 times. Once I Google the information find out a lot of people been getting this card BEWARE of SCAMMERS out there guys

I found this at front door

I called the number on the card and they ask for my husband. The person didn’t want to tell anything after I gave the case number. He didn’t tell from what company or department he was from. I found it very disturbing. So I googled the name on the card because they’re a lot of things that are made public thru the internet. And this was the first thing that popped up. I send this website to my husband right away to let him know. So many freaking scammers are out there.

Left these cards on my cars and door

Found these on my vehicles and screen door. They were left by someone in a white Corolla who appeared to take a picture of something before getting out of the car at 2:07am. We have nothing at risk of being repossessed or any other financial or legal issues. So, not sure. I called the number and it was pretty vague, they said they were PIs but wouldn’t tell me anything without sharing a case number. Since I’m not sure if they’re using the case # as a way to record or trace who is following up, I decided not to share it to keep myself totally anonymous. They wouldn’t tell me the address or name of their PI service either, quoting “we’re private investigators”. Whole thing seems weird and has spooked my wife.

Same note on my door in Stuart. I looked it up... it's definitely a scam...DO NOT ENGAGE with anyone about this...this are looking for information. The world has simply gone bat[censored] crazy and all the fringe scammers are going mainstream now, walking right up to our front doors in broad daylight and using investigative scare tactics. Be careful and don't trust anyone!

When I got home last night, I found this under my door as I went in. I thought this was a scam because nothing in my house would need an investigator, nor am I in any kind of mess. Please do not get scammed by this person. See all other scam blogs.

Investigations Unit Card Left In Mailbox

Approximately 4:09am my camera was going off a guy about 6ft gets out of the black car goes and put something into my mailbox then left.

I proceed today with my morning routine only to discover he left a business card stating : Investigations Unit . B Hamilton with license and case number and phone number.

I called the number music was playing I knew then it was a scam .

If my cameras were.angle to get his tag number by law he would have been arrested.

Card on my car

This morning I found an Investigation Unit card on my car with the same information as the others have, except a different case number. On the back it reads “Pleas call this number, thank you” with ‘please’ spelled wrong. I will not be contacting this scam number. I am more upset that these people feel comfortable walking onto people’s property to place their nonsense on peoples belongings. Disgraceful.
