SCAMMER: Investigative Unit

This morning I walked out to my car and found the same "Investigative Unit" card I see everyone is posting. Before I even called, I googled and came across this site. I live in a GATED community! This person came in the middle of the night because I was home at about 10:17 p.m. and there was nothing on my car. It's scary to think these people are getting past security, roaming around our community in the middle of the night and trying to scare/scam people! They must be stopped!

Woke up this morning to this card shoved in my car door. Called the number and no answer. Googled the card and number only to find this page and that I'm not the only one this has happened to. I think they tried to get in my home last night around 1:00 a.m. My wife and I heard someone jiggle the doorknob but when I went to look there was no one there. I hope they have got right with God cause if they open this door they on an express ride to meet him. Be safe out there people. If you see something like this on your car don't touch it with your bare hands and don't call the number, it's either a scam of some type or a kidnapping attempt. This was the same night as the eclipse and that only makes it that much more strange. Stay vigilant out there, someone is always watching, waiting, scamming. Don't fall victim next. It can happen to anyone.

Be aware of these type of scams do not give them any information . None of the case number was pulling up at police department , known scam around area , be aware of these scams and don’t give no information

I called the number on the card and they ask for my husband. The person didn’t want to tell anything after I gave the case number. He didn’t tell from what company or department he was from. I found it very disturbing. So I googled the name on the card because they’re a lot of things that are made public thru the internet. And this was the first thing that popped up. I send this website to my husband right away to let him know. So many freaking scammers are out there.

Left these cards on my cars and door

Found these on my vehicles and screen door. They were left by someone in a white Corolla who appeared to take a picture of something before getting out of the car at 2:07am. We have nothing at risk of being repossessed or any other financial or legal issues. So, not sure. I called the number and it was pretty vague, they said they were PIs but wouldn’t tell me anything without sharing a case number. Since I’m not sure if they’re using the case # as a way to record or trace who is following up, I decided not to share it to keep myself totally anonymous. They wouldn’t tell me the address or name of their PI service either, quoting “we’re private investigators”. Whole thing seems weird and has spooked my wife.

Same note on my door in Stuart. I looked it up... it's definitely a scam...DO NOT ENGAGE with anyone about this...this are looking for information. The world has simply gone bat[censored] crazy and all the fringe scammers are going mainstream now, walking right up to our front doors in broad daylight and using investigative scare tactics. Be careful and don't trust anyone!
