I received a recorded message on my phone this afternoon. They said it was from the Internal Revenue Service. They said this is my final notice and that they have filed a lawsuit against me. Then they actually left the phone number to call. Just to repeat it was 228-325-1009. I've received phone calls before from the "IRS" and they've yelled at me. Go figure.

I received a phone call and a voicemail on 8/16/16 from someone claiming to be from the IRS. Said his name was Sergeant Daniel Weber, or Webster, it was not a very clear voicemail. The message said there was a law case against me and that if I did not return his call that he wished me well in the upcoming events that were about to unfold against me. A few minutes later, possibly an hour later, I received another call leaving a voicemail saying the exact words as before so I knew it was a pre-recorded message. After calling the ScamPulse.com I decided to change my voicemail greeting saying that the person claiming to be from the IRS has been reported and to leave me alone. Then in about another hour they called again and this time the voicemail was not a recording but a person that sounded like he was from India. All he said was hello a couple of times and then hung up. I have not received any more calls since.

This number called both my father and I. When you answer, they say nothing. Upon calling back they answer the phone with "internal revenue service, this is ." I then said "yes I recieved a call from this number who are you looking for?" I was then hung up on twice. I called back again and the same gentleman answers the phone, and I repeated myself by asking who they were looking for. They proceeded to ask for my name, which I responded with 'who are you looking for?' He then said that I owed the IRS money and that there would be a lawsuit against me if I didn't pay today. I know for a fact, 100% without a doubt that I do not owe money to the IRS. I just think this number needs to be investigated since they tried to do the exact same thing to my father a few days ago.

A gentleman with a Arabic accent called my cell number telling me I have a lawsuit against me from the Internal Revenue Service in Washington DC. He told me to get a lawyer and if not to have one of them represent me for a fee. I told him how can I have Internal Revenue Service lawsuit if I haven't worked in 10 years and he hung up on me. I proceeded to call back and the same guy answered and made fun of me saying I'll never catch him.

Called claiming that he is from the IRS and that it was my last chance before a lawsuit is filed. Fishing for personal information. He got upset when I refused to give my date of birth. Informed him that I would not give out any personal information. He claimed that my DOB is not personal information. He would not give me his name . I hung up and he called back stating that within 48 min a lawsuit would be filed against me. The phone number used is 925-478-6972 . Told him that I was contacting the BBB.

I continue to receive calls saying that I owe them over it for $8,000. They threatened by saying they will send the police to my door. They have very heavy Foreign Accents and when I told them that they were scammers and quit taking advantage of people. They continue to call back. The last time he said how are you this is your boyfriend. They never say this call is being recorded for quality assurance. They always say they have a u.s. named last one said he was Jerry Wilson.

A call came in 8/2 and 8/3 under a private name. There was an automated female voice that stated that the IRS had filed charges against a person but there was no name. There was a number left at the end of the message 18448440116. I called the number back today and a female operator answered IRS may I help you. I told her that a call came in about a claim against a person in this house and I wanted to know the name if the person. She knew my name and asked if I was that person. I stated yes I am but , I am disable and I do not file tax returns. I also stated that I have not worked since the year 2000. She stated that they would notate that information and someone from the IRS would call me back later and I asked her to repeat it and she disconnected the call. I googled the IRS number and that number did not show up as one of their numbers
