Your case number is IR7416. The moment you receive this message, I need you to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time-sensitive. The hotline to my desk is 646-893-6006. I repeat it: 646-893-6006. Don't disregard this message and return the call. Now, if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney, either, then the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as this situation unfolds on you. Goodbye."

Caller says there is a warrant for my arrest and I need to call back. When I called the person who answered the phone said they are from the IRS and when I asked for his name he said his name is Reginald. When I wouldn't give him any information, he gave me the codes "GOODNIGHT" and "LOL12345".

I received a call from an Officer Ben Marcus (IRM2024) claiming to be from the IRS. He said that my tax claims were fraud and that I have a warrant. He said an officer would be by my house within an hour and I would be detained for 48 hours, and that anything in my name would be frozen and/or seized.

They call and claim to be the IRS. When I call back and ask are they the government, they hang up. I called the real IRS to report them, and they said just hang up, it's a scam. I just want to report this number. Other people, the elderly, etc, might actually fall for their scam.

on 9/12/16 I received a call with an automated message asking you to call back. When called back, men imposing as IRS agents regarding an audit for your taxes filed during 2010-2015 with the result of back taxes owed. They give their IRM# and also give you a Case # on file with the IRS. They threaten the release of an immediate arrest warrant if payment for the back taxes are not paid if you hang up with choosing the option to settle in or out of court and demand that they stay on the line with you if you have to go to your bank to withdraw the funds! They know your full name & address and state that they have mailed several letters regarding the back pay of the taxes plus have a picture on file of your front door with someone posting the notice in person.

Missed phone call and they left a message telling me they were calling from the IRS. Told me not to ignore the message. I called the number and an Asian man said his name was John and that the IRS was suing me for defrauding the government. He said I failed to have my taxes done in 2011 and the IRS was going to sue me and the amount would be in excess of $35,000.00. He said they would take my home, my car, and any money I have. I told him I've been on disability and didn't have to file taxes. He said that in 2013 that if you made over $500.00 you had to file taxes and didn't I know that the laws had changed? Then I caught on and asked him his name. He said John Smith. I asked him his badge number, he said 7015. Then I asked him if John Smith was the name his parents had given him and said that the IRS doesnot call people, why was he calling me. The initial message that was left was spoken very slowly and almost sounded like Charlie Brown's parents voice.
