I received 2 messages yesterday from someone saying they were with the IRS. I called the number back and they answered IRS. I told him I would call back and requested his ID number and the guy rattled off some numbers. I know it was a scam. Just wanted to report the information so others would know.

I received 3 calls from these people saying they were the irs. I didn't answer the phone but checked the messages and they were all the same. Neither I nor my husband owes the irs anything.

On Friday, December 11, 2015 @ approximately 6:35 pm (CST), I received phone call " stating this is your final notice from the Internal Revenue Service regarding a law suit and to call the dept. number 501-266-4066 regarding this case file." Please note: as per caller id. the phone number 501-266-4066 indicated it was a cell phone.

I received 2 separate calls (first one at 9am & one at 1pm) which left messages that said IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and to department for more info. First message left this number 530-362-8912 @ 9am and second message left this number 505-569-1040 @ 1pm the same day.

It was a recorded message saying it was from the legal department of the Internal Revenue Service telling us that it was our final notice that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against us. It told us to call them back at (253)245-1998.

prerecorded message to call 713-820-5278 because i am being sued by irs for money owed. i know that i do not owe irs. this is the second time i get this type of phone call. the other was a few months ago, it was a different number, can't remember the number may have been a 225 or 223 area code, reported that one to vermilion parish sheriff's department. i did call that first number back, a middle eastern sounding man answered and i was hung up on when i mentioned taking the situation to my nephew, *** ***, who is my attorney and state senator.

Phone call from fake IRS organization regarding owing money to the IRS. Message on answering machine states I owed IRS funds and call the following phone number to pay a fine.

Today, November 17, 2015 the IRS (360-851-4718) called to state I owed $1300. My phone showed the call came from Black Diamond, WA. I spoke w/Kevin who said I had 3 charges for immigration, fraud, (?) . He said this is the last day and if I pay they will take care of the matter. However, I knew it was a fraud.
