Type of a scam Phishing

Scammer named themselves Ken Dutton and stated they were an independent licensed insurance salesman but would not tell me the name of the company he worked for. He said there was a need to switch from Aetna to Humana before March 31st or I would not have any Medicare anymore and my doctor's office was no longer accepting my insurance and I needed to switch immediately. I told them I would not do that because I needed to verify with my office (my office said none of that was true).

Spoke to a so called " Licensed Insurance Agent" named Kevin at 1-888-347-0758 and told me he was giving me an amazing health plan, and a low premium rate. As I work in the medical field and he had ever answer. Told me it was a fully funded plan, part of multiplan open access ppo, 70/30 coinsurance, and it is ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THAT. It is a shared saving program. I've called back numerous times asking for my money back and that I was given false information. I have officially file a complaint with the New Jersey Department of Bankers and Insurance. And i was contacted to them by going under getcoveredNJ. Be extremely careful this world is full of scammers.
