Instinct Tools & Alpha Software Support s[censored]. They are ripping people off. They say they need a certain amount of money, then the number change quickly to something else. They are scammers and liars. These people should be put out of business. Never use these companies. They are crooks. Shame on them!

My 85 yr old mother received a pop-up on her computer to call a number to fix her computer. The tech remoted in on her computer and ran a few tests. He told my mother to write out a check to Instinct Tools for $6,200. That number is correct Six thousand two hundred dollars. Then he had her scan the check to her desktop.

The tech in the pop-up name is Chris Shawn Smith.

I move money out of her bank account and now getting a new checking account.

On August 08, 2021 our personal computer locked us out. We were given a number to call. supposedly through Microsoft with which we have an account. We know now they- Instinct Tool - caused this. We were charged $1665.00 to unlock and 6 years service coverage. On August 23, 2021 a Jason **** called us and told us they had a massive computer crash and could no longer honor their commitment and said they wanted to refund out money. His superior, Danny ****** called us to do a computer transfer of funds. He was upset we did not do online banking as that was the "only way" this could be done. I set up a mobile account and they called back the next day. The initial transfer was $800 to be followed by a $865.00 transfer. I typed in the $800.00 (with decimal as instructed). I saw a quick flash of a cursor go over the figure so that it looked like $8000.00 was deposited. He was upset (!) and said the only way to fix it was to go to six different stores and by 2 $500.00 Apple gift cards per store and then asked me to read off the numbers on the cards as they had no computer coverage. Stupidly I did the first 2 then went to my bank to get a balance and of course the amount was never deposited,although they did send a supposed bank statement showing the money already marked as deposited. When I told him that money was never put in the account he assured me it was. When I told him I was calling from the bank he hung up. I know personally of at least two people who have had the exact same experience.
