This company repeatedly phoned [the caller], questioning to verify [redacted] information about the caller. When [the caller] declined to confirm or deny personal, confidential information, they refused to identify themselves, their business or their reason for calling. [The caller] called the number back to see how they greeted the phone, they answered identifying themselves as IC System and state they are not allowed to describe their business in any capacity. They stated based on [the caller]'s phone number they believe they have [the caller]'s [redacted] information and [the caller] needs to confirm or deny before they can state who they are. They stated they are unable to describe their company, intentions or all else. Recommended that [the caller] "does their own research" and they're unable to inform [the caller] of their business. [The caller] transferred between many representatives until [the caller] found a representative that confirmed to [the caller] their business handles "personal affairs, customer relations and debt collections" [The caller] asked the representative to confirm his name and employee ID, which he did. This company tried getting [the caller] to verify their identity through means of [redacted] information and refused to identify themselves. [The caller] would be left wondering how this company would have [the caller]'s [redacted] information to confirm over the phone. Having [the caller]'s [redacted] information and refusing to identify themselves was highly suspect.
