John Webster texted my phone and said he wanted to offer me an Administrative Assistant position for $19.65/hr. I asked him to send me a link and he sent me a link to the Telegram App instead of a company website. I automatically knew it was a scam and I ended the conversation real quick.

I was text by Robert Sotelo and then received a letter and a check for $1500. The only info they wanted was my name, email, cell #, check deposit amount and the check number. No other kind of info, their suppose to contact me with an authorization before even depositing the check. The check was written off of PCN BANK in Illinois. Then the letter said once I deposited this check to send a copy of the deposit but black out all pertinent info first
By doing this I would receive $50 for following directions. The letter gave me a email address to send copy to and it's.

I got contacted by the same person David king offered me the job, gave me a start date emailed me a bunch of documents to sign, i did no sign anything, he also send me a check of $2400 to be deposited into my account, i already know from the begining something was up, so i played him , made up a story that the check was not accepted and the bank said the due to the online fraudelant activity this check was not accepted, also told him the bank has the info, thats he got scared, please be carefull everyone

I was contacted via phone by David King stating he represented this company called Hydrix Group and wanted to interview me for a Administrative Assistant position working from home. I participated in what appear to be a legitimate job interview. A few hours later I received an e-mail informing that I had been selected for the position. I was then contacted again by David and he informed me of my supposed duties as Administrative Assistant, gave me a start date, and that I would receive a $2,400 check to purchase a laptop and the software I will be using for the job.A few hours later I receive a check via email, and a call from David urging me to promptly deposit it into my account.He tells me too wait until the next day once the funds are available to buy gift cards and send him the card numbers.As he needed this information to send to the vendor so I can have my working equipment the next week. After sending the gift card info I never heard back from him.I was a victim of a scam and all I was looking for was a job to provide for my family during these tough times.And someone ended up taking it all from me.I don't know what to do and it's impossible for me to come up with the funds I'm still looking for a job.

Hi! I’ve been contacted by David King too suggesting that he works for the company Hydrix Group. I got a ‘job offer’ for the role of administrative assistant and the starting wage is $35. Immediately, I can already tell that this is a scam. I blocked his number but I’m scared and I don’t know what to do.
