I was contacted online by someone claiming to represent a company or organization from Turkey. They asked me to send money via Western Union. After the first transfer, they provided a name and bank account number, and then, once that seemed successful, they gave me a different name to collect the money in person. The money was taken the same day.

After that, they stopped responding to my calls or messages, despite trying multiple phone numbers. I contacted both my bank and Western Union, but the process took a very long time, and each time, Western Union delayed handling the case.

I ultimately lost the money and later discovered that multiple complaints had already been filed against the same individuals. It’s concerning that a company of this size did not verify its customers before processing the transfers.
