My husband saw an ad on Facebook for a company he has purchased from in the past, huntinggear.shop. It was after Christmas and they were advertising end of year sales. He selected a number of items and asked me to help him buy them. I used my credit card/address/name/phone/email to check out. The total charge was $80. The website looked legitimate with logos and images. No red flags initially. After more than a week, we had not received a confirmation email, so I went onto the actual website and saw nothing in our order history matching what we'd bought. I checked our account and saw we had been charged. I cancelled my card and disputed the charge immediately. I've been getting an increased number of spam/scam emails since this time from other companies. We did receive an email from [email protected] with a tracking number saying our items shipped from China. The tracking info now says the package was delivered to CA which is not where we live in the US. There is no contact number on the website.
