Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

This company wants me to pay by wire transfer in advance to use their services. The "Client" of ours (via email) requested to purchase items from our store and use this freight company exclusively. When asked about further information, they gave me the "bosses" name and account number to transfer the money to. I called the bank, and yes there is an active account, but no recourse if no action is taken after the money has cleared.
Im afraid that the credit card the "client" used to purchase the goods is also fraud, even though it went through. My fear is that when this finally does get discovered, we'll be asked to repay the funds and then I am out that money as well as the freight costs.
