They called and said they were running ads for our local high school and wanted us to reserve a spot on the poster. I asked them a lot of questions and the first thing that stood out to me was that they were listing sports that the school didn't even have. The second red flag was her trying to take my payment over the phone. This led me to google the name to see if there were similar experiences of a scam & there were! Always ask questions and like someone said, just donate directly to the school.

This company is going around pretending to be representing the athletic department of local high schools. They pretend to be a third party vendor that is selling advertisements for sports posters. The schools are not contracted to work with them. They will get you to purchase an ad, they will send over a phony sports poster and keep the money and not distribute the sports poster. They call each week.
