Found a Google job listing for a “Remote Health and Wellness Coach,” and applied using just my resume. Initial follow-up was through text using the number provided, and instructed me to reach out to “HR” through Microsoft teams. All communication was through Microsoft teams, including the attachment of a job description, as well as all interview questions. Initial contact was with someone named “John Philip,” as well as “William Richie” and “Erica Cohill.” I had a phone call with a “Dr. Jacob Walker,” which was pretty much strengths, weaknesses, and random questions inapplicable to the fictional job. I confirmed with the real Conway Regional Health System that it is a scam, and started documenting everything.
