I received text messages from the same number from a Robi to email [email protected]. I received an email stating to download an app called Wire to speak to a LaVonne Hatcher. We messaged each other for the “interview” and they are sending me a check to purchase the equipment for the remote Administration Assistant position. There is no phone number on the employment offer. I researched the company it’s in Australia but shows up as Dawson’s Engineering on LinkedIn and Facebook. This is my 3rd time receiving random text messages to have an “interview” for them to send me a check to cover equipment purchases, etc. Frustrating and weird.

Received the text from 203-653-5193, it said about the same message as others reported here: you applied xyz position, email [email protected] to schedule an Interview Briefing and discuss your experience.

I received the following message: “You applied to our remote (Administrative Assistant) offer. Email hr@ascotengr. com to schedule an Interview Briefing and discuss your experience. Alyssa” was sent to me. When I asked the company, she said Aurora Technical System LLC. I emailed the company and they said it’s fraud.

First received an email from a linkedin posting - then received an email saying they're going to do an IM interview. Downhill from there.
