I’ve been looking for a new job, and had posted my resume on several job sites. I got an email from “Lauren Stephens” saying that she saw my posted resume. The job posting she sent me was for a remote Data Entry position, $27 per hour, $200 a day for training. She sent me a link to the company which looked legit, and a link for an employee assessment exam. About a week went by, I heard back, and was sent a job offer contract. I was actually excited about the job, so I feel pretty damn dumb right now. Then it got fishy. She told me to message her on the Telegram app. She then sent me an email with a check for $1900, sent from Ashley Park One Condominium Association Inc. Told me to print it out and cut it, then send a pic of it to her to make sure I did it right? I started looking into it more and realized this was a scam. I checked back, and the website they originally sent me was gone, the employee assessment test was gone. I told them I was reporting them for fraud, and they deleted our chat history. Blocked them in all my contacts. Changed my passwords. Super bummed and I feel really stupid for getting my hopes up.

I was contacted by text as well about a data entry position at the pay of $27.00 from Applied Neuro Solutions. I could not remember if I had applied for this job or not. It seems real. The lady's name was Lauren Stephen, she sent me an email for assessment on Friday. Then on Monday, she sent the so call job offer. I felt something was off. In her email, she said Telegram was the only way to communicate and I never had an interview. WOW, I felt for this, and I’m so upset with myself. They have my address and DOB. I have since blocked all communication with the number and email. I did not set up Telegram,

My experience was exactly the same as the others reported except for the company name was Applied NeuroSolutions, Inc. Same text, email, and assessment and employee links, with a very quick job offer the next morning without any phone conversations or interviews.
