I went to what i thought was Homewoods2Suites Hotel.com to reserve a hotel room and was told i could cancel if needed without any charges by March 20th. This reservation was yesterday March 9th. I looked at email confirmation and was charged 100 dollars over the amount confirmed. I called to fix mistake and decided instead to cancel. I received a text message stating refund of 264.64. This is only half of $529 they charged my card. This was not the Homewoods Suite Hotel and they are obviously scammers. I have reported dispute with my credit card company. They also obtained my personal information. I reached out to the actual hotel for assistance as well. I hope no one else plans a stay at hotel they scraped up money to take kids on trip and instead get robbed and scammed out of money. 264 dollars is alot of money to me!!!! Its very sad and stressful!!! Now we haven't any funds to go anywhere.
