Postcard purportedly from "Homeowner Protection Division" with Dallas postmark requests I call to avoid termination of my home warranty. I have never had a home warranty and I find no evidence that the named business officially exists. A "registration id" and "pin" are printed on the card. No means of contact other than the phone number is present.

Sent mail claiming that a home warranty was expiring and this was a replacement notice . I had no such warranty so called the number to see what the company was as Homeowner Protection Division is not a real company name. The agent who answered never gave a real company name or address . He was offensive, insulting and aggressive. He lied and said he was replacing the company that I do have warranties with and that they were out of business. I reported it to that company also who verified my existing warranties with them and assured they were operating business as usual. They agreed that this was a scammer.
