Scammer sent postal mail about a "warranty replacement notice". The scam company did not list any specific company name or website on the mail.

- Miami, FL, USA • May 01, 2025

The letter I received indicated Final Notice and asked me to call to renew my home's warranty immediately. There is no company name, email address or website on the letter. The only identifying information is the name Corey Carleson, Program Director. When I called and pressed for information, the person hung up on me. I believe this is a scam because I never had a home warranty, only homeowners insurance. The letter does show my name and home address.

I'd just like to be sure that, if this is a scam, it's stopped so that other people who are targeted don't lose money. I can send a copy of the letter to you if necessary. Thank you very much.

No addressor included in the correspondence received from "Home Warranty Division." Correspondence had sense of legitimacy and its temnplate looked similar to those of legal proceedings filed in court. The correspondence included words "Private & Confidential", "Classidfioed for Privacy", "Final Notice" as well as a sense of urgency to contact the company to avoid losing some sort of warranty, which would leave you responsible to pay for highest costs of repair. Signed by Wage Grant, Program Director.

I received an urgent letter with a waiver looking like a check for $199.00. They have my name address and mortgage bank in this letter. I called the bank and they felt it was not legit so I looked up the number on google and saw it was a scam. I did not contact the number and reported it here to BBB.

The letter was to my daughter about my home address. My daughter lives in Oregon but i live in Nevada and it was about my home. Though my daughter just bought a new build home in Oregon. My home was bought outright no mortgage 20 years ago. The letter was sent to us by Amber Lawrence Program Director Home Warranty Division. I really didn't give her a chance to say much. I told her that she was a scam or fraud and to leave my daughter alone. That her letter didn't make sense.

- Miami, FL, USA • May 27, 2024

Received a letter with my lender info on it. The letter appeared to be from my lender, as far as I could tell. It indicated that my home warranty was expiring. At first read, it appeared to suggest that my lender didn't have my home insurance on file. I called the number and was on hold when I googled the number as the recording didn't sound right. The letter was "signed" by "James Miller" who is listed as the program director.

Received a letter in the mail that appeared to be from our home lender with a warning that our home warranty was not up to date and would expire in a few days. I phoned the number 877-671-1027. The operator answered and said his name was Brandon and asked for the Customer ID on my letter, which I provided. He noted that by the end of the call I would have the right to accept or decline. He asked me how everything in my home was working, HVAC, washer/dryer, electrical system. At this point I began to realize I was not talking to my lender but a third party. I explicitly clarified this by asking if this was a service I was currently subscribed to (I wasn't sure, sorry to say), and he said no, but if I accepted the warranty service it would cover everything in my home through June 22, 2027. This is when I realized it was a scam attempt. After a moment I politely said, "I'm going to go ahead and decline this service today, but thanks for your time." He tried to sell me once more and once more I declined and the call ended. I did a web search on the 800 number and was immediately brought to this ScamPulse.com page.

I got a letter about my Home Warranty about to expire. I asked them information about my actual coverage and they didn't know how to respond. They told me they'd give me the lowest payment if I paid right away. They had me on hold for a couple seconds and I looked for the number and it was a scam
