I am the owner of Home Bridge Realty, LLC Canton and Eatonton, Georgia. I just received a legal letter from an Atlanta Attorney Firm who is accusing Home Bridge Realty, LLC of signing a Purchase and Sale Agreement with two individuals in Thomas County, Georgia. The letter is addressed to Home Bridge Real Estate, LLC, Canton, Georgia. The correct name of my company is Home Bridge Realty,. LLC and is properly registered with the Georgia Real Estate Commission and at the Georgia Secretary of State of Georgia's Office. This is the second time this has happened and the last time, it got all the way to filing legal documents incorrectly in Superior Court until I could get it unwound. If anyone has an issue with a company of this like name, please be advised that it IS NOT Home Bridge Realty, LLC. Home Bridge Realty, LLC is in the business of representing Sellers and Buyers and not PURCHASING real estate. If you should encounter this scam, please look up my contact information on the Internet, Canton, Georgia. It will tell you where my offices are and how to contact me. I would be very interested how many individuals are experiencing this type attempted SCAM. Please be careful!

This company contacted me by letter and offered me, a senior citizen, a ridiculously low amount of money for a parcel of land I have no interest in selling. They stated in their letter that they found the information at the assessor's office. This happened at the end of April, 2020, during the covid19 pandemic. My concern is that they're attempting to obtain property for an unfair price, during a national crisis. At least in this instance, the unsolicited letter offered roughly 10% the value of the land, and, in my opinion, was an attempt to swindle a senior citizen out of their property.
