“John Terry” told us about the sweepstakes and that we one $3.5 million and it is waiting for us at an account in Bank of America. He gave us the account number and pin and phone number to call and everything. We called and it sounded legitimate, but we looked up the number and called into the REAL Bank of America and it sounded almost exactly the same. Almost. We tried the numbers but it didn’t work because it wasn’t exactly the same as the other and the other was fake. We got in touch with someone from the bank and they looked everything up as well and said it did sound like a scam and warned us not to give them anything. We called John back about the sweepstakes at the number he gave us, and, after he asked if we checked, he said to claim it, we need to send a certain amount to them, which we hung up....laughing
