I received a check for $6995.00 which was taken out of my winnings of $500,000. to pay for taxes, etc. The balance of my winnings is $493,005.00 to be delivered to me by certified check and I am to use the $6995. check to pay the taxes which are $6000.00. the claim # is DG3H3. The claims' agent's name is Dale Wesley. My lucky winning numbers were 24-01-58-37-95. This letter was dated July 24,2023 and I just came across it on my desk today, Jan. 27, 2024. Manager's name is Walter Harrison

On December 11th my mother received a letter and check from Highlight Lottery Inc. She's been successfully scammed in the past so I've had to teach her on what to watch out for. Once she saw the postage on this letter was from "Canada Post" she instantly knew it was a scam. She showed it to me and the more I read, the more I knew it was a scam.

Highlight Lottery claims the main location is in Atlanta Georgia. The fake check has 2 different business names on it, JP Morgan Chase Bank and Canais Harsey and Harsey in San Diego California. The letter was clearly printed out in bulk because it has the same 2 names a lot of other people had on theirs. Dave Wesley and Walter H. Harrison. I could even see the faded ink print of the check numbers on the top of the "winnings" letter.

I've since reported this scam to the FTC and said in plain, the fact that this isn't a new scam and it's still going on, is a problem. These people need to be stopped. Find something else better to do. Something that won't land you in hell when it's your time to go.

I received a general mail unmarked envelope from Highlight Lottery, Inc, complete with a claim number GI36LA2 and the date of November 21, 2023. The letter included instructions to call the Claim's Agent: Dale Wesley and was signed by manager Walter H Harrison. The enclosed check of $6990.00 appeared legitimate with watermarks, check number and routing numbers/account numbers etc; drawn on BMO Harris Bank, N.A. against the account of Werner Logistics, 1-80 & HWY 50 PO Box 45196, Omaha, NE 68145-0916.

My elderly mother received something in the mail that said I had won $500,000 lottery. Cash the check for $6,995 to pay the taxes in the amount of $6,000. They told me not to cash the check until I contacted my assigned agent by the name of Dale Wesley. The Lottery company is in Atlanta, but the check was written on Citibank, N.A. in New Castle DE. The postage paid on the envelope was from Canada. Unfortunately, she called the agent and was ready to deposit the check when I decided to do a little research on it. All I had to do was Google Highlight Lottery Inc. and the results came back as a scam and noticed all the similarities as all the other posts.

BE AWARE IT'S A SCAM! Don't call and don't fall for this scam! The addresses and phone numbers might have changed but this is still the same scam trying to steal your hard earned money.

I received a check in the mail from Highlight Lottery for $5998.75. This was deducted from my winnings of $500,00. The purpose of this heck as to pay for tax, insurance, shipping & handling. I was wondering if it was authentic. They even give me my lucky winning numbers. Do not act on this letter until you call and speak with your claims agent Dale Wesley 709-749-4680. I did not call him. I knew not to call. I did not do anything with the check. On the letter is the P.O. Box for Highlight Lottery P.O. Box 4117 Atlanta GA 30692. The check shows First Citizen Bank & Trust Charlotte NC on the check. Company name Ward Tank & Exchanger Corp. I thought I better check with the Better Business Bureau first. No telling what they are up to. Managers name is Walter H. Harrison. I will send this mailing to the BBB.

I received a letter in the mail saying I had won a drawing in the second category of an international market survey draw held on Feb. 23, 2023. Highlight Lottery Inc. received from the Lottery Office entry slip attached to my name with serial numbers; F9-Y5 C7-Q3, drew the lucky winning numbers 26-0-57-98.

I am entitled to the sum of $500,000 payable by CERTIFIED CHECK, which will be delivered by their special courier company.

Enclosed was a check from RIVEROAKS CORPORATION, 1544 W. Gray ST, Houston, TX 77019. It was written on a Chase Bank, Wilmington, DE 19801 account, for $5,998.75. This has been deducted from my winnings. The purpose of this check is to enable me to pay for the tax, insurance, and shipping and handling on my winnings.

I am advised to call my claim agent Dale Wesley at 1-709-749-0223 to begin the claim process on my winnings. "Note: Do not act on this letter until you call and speak with your claims' agent. Yours sincerely, Manager Walter H Harrison"

Letter from the company said I won 500,000.00 enclosed was a check for 5,998.00 says has been deducted from your winnings for Taxes and insurance , shipping and handling your winnings,Tax amount 5,000 You are advised to call a agent for your claim agent name Dale Wesley @1/-709-749-0223 This is a SCAM please don't participate in this SCAM

I also received a check for $5,998.75. The letter was mailed from Canada, Newfoundland I think. Letter shows a Atlanta, GA address. The check is written on a Charlotte, NC bank. Phone number is Newfoundland or Labrador. Grammar is questionable, "You're advise to call 1-709-749-4680"
I'm jealous because someone else got 2 cents more than me.

I received a letter in the mail from OptumRX with a $5000.00 check saying I won the money but I haven't signed up for anything.

I recieved a check from Highlight Lottery in the mail worth $5,998.77. The letter said to cash the check and then send them a certain amount for taxes. At the bottom of the letter it had the logos for different businesses like Walgreens and Family Dollar Store.

I received a letter in the mail from Highlight Lottery Inc stating that I won $500,000 with a serial & claim number. I was advised to contact an advisor named Matt Lawson in Atlanta Ga even though the envelope I received it in was from Canada. I immediately checked the company on line and found out that it is a total scam. This is a shame as some people will ultimately believe this info. Something should be done to shut down these scams.

I received something in the mail that said I had won $500,000 lottery. Cash the check for $5,908.30 to pay the taxes. They told me not to cash the check until I contacted my assigned agent by the name of Matt Lawson. The Lottery company is in Atlanta, but the check was written on a credit union in Maine. The postage paid on the envelope was from Canada.
