This website claims handmade orthopedic sandals (along with other orthopedic accessories). I will note, I did a google search for products "made in the usa" and hexocare popped up claiming their products come from Denmark. I thought, great, I'm getting good craftmanship and a product that will last...I received the package two weeks after ordering, and it was an unsafe to wear product and really cheap Chinese garbage quite frankly. The best way to describe it is flimsy and unsafe to wear. In trying them on, in fact, I even slipped on the carpet. They weren't even close to calling them an orthopedic product. I personally believe this is their sales tactic to steal money out of people's pockets...and I'll explain more why. When I reached out to them with both my dissatisfaction and wanting to return it for a full refund, I was advised I'd have to send them back to Denmark. They offered me a partial credit of $20 for something they were listing as on sale for $59.99 from $150.00...this is all part of the scam. They said for me to send it would cost more so they'd only offer a partial credit. So now, I'd have to pay to have this garbage shipped back? It's not to any standard we'd get here in the US, even if it were manufactured in China and I would not feel safe giving them away as I'd have fear that whomever received them would get seriously hurt...especially assuming they're orthapedic! The other red flag, the package came from NY and when I asked them why, they claimed a new label was created at customs and that's how they processed it...very fishy. I am disputing the charge with paypal, so we'll see how far this goes. People need to know...BUYER BEWARE...
