On 2/27 I purchased a American Express at Walgreens I put 450 dollars on the card when I went to Hertz with my card the money was gone from the card I called the 800 on the back of the card they told me to contact you proxy

spoke into the phone (android) and asked for the number to hertz, automated voice gave me a phone number to call which led to a scammer. the scammer told me that he can reduce the amount of the rental to 24 dollars a day rather than paying 168 per day, told me i needed to go to a store and get a prepaid gift card and load the funds and they can deliver the car to me. i did question him about the prepaid card because it didnt seem right but i have known friends to rent cars from other places and the company will have the car delivered. this guy did turn out to be a scam because i have not heard from the guy and still dont have the rental.
