Heads up!!!! Sadly in this time when we are all in need there are still scammers out there trying to get your last dollar. I received a check for almost $4,000 from a company wanting to pay me to put a decal on my car. I automatically got suspicious when I looked at the envelope it came in and it said it was from Baskin-Robbins but The check has a completely different name on it. I called my mom to get her input and she said the same.im not sure what exactly their plan with all this is but I definitely dont want to find out even though im down to my last dollars.

Their plan is to get you to deposit the check and take the money back out to pay a technician to wrap your car. The check is fake so it will eventually bounce, but not before you make a withdrawal and send a payment to the non-existent technician. That's another red flag, if they were legitimate they would pay them directly. This leaves you on the hook for the amount of the check as well as any associated fees your bank charge you for depositing a bad check.
