They asked me to download the Signal Messenger app so that I could interview with their hiring manager, Stephanie Langston. I downloaded the app and was sent what they titled, “Interview Questions”. Amount the first questions that I was asked:
1. Do you prefer “wire transfers” to receive your salary
2. Please provide your bank information to ensure compatibility with our designated salary payment account
The above bank info and wire transfer questions were asked almost immediately, before being interviewed.
When I typed in my response that I would not be providing any bank information at this time, all communication ceased.
