Same thing happened i got contacted thru an email and then I had to get ahold of Joe andre from hcl technologies wanted me to sign and return and then create a citibank or capital one acct to have money deposited for equipment the guy keeps assuring me its not a scam but im.ptetty sure it is go with your gut its never wrong! Attached is the pic he used

I was contacted by a Jasmine Gamila through a text message about employment for HCL Technologies from Indeed. I was asked to send a message to a Derek Hastings. After competing a so called interview which consisted of 3 sets of questions, I was informed that I got the position. I was hired as a Data Entry Analyst, and I would be paid $35.00 per hour. I was instructed to deposit a $850.17 check into my account and once it cleared to send the funds via cash app to a Danny Holmes with a cash app tag: $holmes1313. I did deposit the check into my account, but my bank placed a 10 business day hold on the funds to ensure that it clears the bank. Please do not fall for this scam. If you happen to deposit the check into your account, ask you bank to put a 10 business day hold on the funds so you are not a victim. I hope this was helpful.

I got a message through an app called telegram for this job and they said they pay $35/hour and provide money for buying a new computer, pay my college and give me a new phone at their expense. Idk if it’s fake or real but it doesn’t seem real.

I was contacted by text from a Anderson Connor about employment from Indeed. I was asked to send a message to a Derek Hastings. Through the conversation of course I “got the job” and was mailed a check to supposedly to pay for equipment. I called the bank on the check and they informed me it was fraudulent and not to cash the check. They are representing a company called HCL Technologies.
