Harvest Hills Wind is promoting advertisements on Facebook to trick people into sending support letters to the Whitman County Commissioners in support of their wind power project. The advertisement asks if you would like to sign up to learn more about the project, but when you fill in your information and hit submit it actually fills your name and information into a form-letter to the commissioners. The letter is mostly hidden by the “submit” button and is clearly intended to trick people into supporting their project which is facing public backlash.
