He admitted to me while working on our flooring, that it was his first time doing it by himself. I immediately felt an awful
Feeling. I looked at YouTube videos and the work he was doing was not the same. He also took forever to install the baseboards he took out. The open baseboards also invited a mouse in our home.
It was after that scenario that I finally decided to call him and tell him I didn’t appreciate him lying to us. He then sounded annoyed and said that he will give me our money back and to hire someone else to do it.
I had also given him a down payment of $145 to start my daughter’s ceiling for July 22. He never did it. And, he didn’t even complete the flooring and we have had professionals look and they all say our flooring needs to be redone.
My father, whom is a senior citizen, also paid him a total of $90, to have his toilet installed. That hasn’t been done. He practically stole our money and hasn’t done the work.
Daniel is currently ignoring all of us and he hasn’t even paid anything back. He’s been giving me the run around since the end of July.
I don’t want him doing this to anyone else. He’s unlicensed and I can’t imagine him
doing this to other innocent people. He will make it seem like he knows how to do a job, but I’m actuality he does NOT.
He will be nice and knowledgeable at first. Then, he will try and get the down payment from you. That’s where he gets you. You will not see that money again.
He took off with $625 total of our money for everything. To add to this dismal experience, he asked me to send him money for the baseboards. $84 so I sent him $85. I asked him for the receipt and he said he lost it. I look at Home Depot and they were not $84. I’ll never see that receipt again just like I won’t see our money. Lastly, what kind of human being doesn’t at least install a toilet seat for a senior citizen? Daniel took my fathers money and lied to all of us about everything.
