I would like report some concerns I have regarding a recent attempt to purchase several small pistols.

On 11/7 and 11/8 I submitted an online order with Gun-Ammos out of Lodi Ca. At the time it was late and the company informed me that their credit card system was down and I would need to use Zelle. The next morning I completed the transaction by sending them the 369.00. I asked for a receipt and was told via text. “ I'll send you full delivery details in the next 01 hr 15 mins”

I waited and waited then a text came in” ATF oblige every buyer of Firearms to insure their gun on delivery. So you can get a temporary insurance till the Firearm gets to you, and in case you don’t want to keep it for future uses, the money will be 100% refunded back to you. Am sorry but your order was held by the ATF and they demand an insurance to cover it which can be refunded upon arrival.“

I was becoming quite skeptical and as the text kept coming in. The next on was received. “ $400 for 5years insurance. Refundable in case you don't plan on keeping for future use.”

“ If you wish to get the insurance then, I might have to request their financial consultant's payment info.”

“ Once you make the payment for the insurance, they'll send you a form to fill.”

At this point you will have to wait till you hear from the ATF.. We can't cancel when it is at the possession of the ATF”

My very concern is not the money, I know I stand very little chance of getting it back. My main concern is where is that money going and worse yet is where are the guns going? They were supposed to go to the FFL in Tucson but since the ATF is holding the guns which according to FFL’s I spoke with in California and Ohio and Az there would not be a reason this should be. So, who has the guns? Where did the money for the guns go? That is my concern.

I have not been able to contact the staff either by phone or email.

Whoever is running this scam also ran a scam at crownweaponstore.com. I emailed the abuse line at the host for that store and they're offline now.

It looked like gun-ammos.com was the same thing so I eventually got a call back from them after I set up a google voice number and called pretending to be an interested customer. It was the same guy I talked to from crownweaponstore.com.

I wanted to buy a Henry lever action repeating rifle and found one for sale on this site. The site had a place to buy with a credit card which I used. I quickly got a call from Albert Dona with the outfit claiming charging my credit wasn't working and recommended other methods of paying for the rifle including using the Cash App. Once I got Cash set up, I paid for the rifle by sending the money to the $Cashtag of $MichelAupont6. While this was going on yesterday, I received over 18 phone calls from Albert Dona yesterday, February 25th and today, February 26th. This morning Albert Dona called wanting money to ship the rifle that the web site said would be shipped for free. He claimed he needed $210 to ship the rifle and then changed his story to the $210 would be to insure the rifle. I let him know I had reported the transaction with $MichelAupont6 to be a scam and that I would be on this site to report the site as a scam. So, the moral of the story is don't get scammed like I was. I got all kinds of information indicating that the rifle would be shipped via state2statecouriers.com and gave me a bogus tracking number. Not only was I scammed out of money but my credit card information was used to try to make international purchases via BrightLocal Ltd Lewes GB. My credit card company queried me had I made the purchases and I indicated I hadn't so my credit card was cancelled and a new one issued. The pricing and description of the Henry were in line with Henry's MSRP. The description matches Henry's website so things appeared legit. Beware! Stay away from this outfit!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE!

Their website is incomplete and the way they handle transactions are completely
un-professional. They tried to tell me that I didnt complete the proper background check when their was no background check from their site. Also 15 seconds after I said No to the other guy I got a text from another number saying he was Frank from guns & ammo. This whole site reeks with SCAM! I hope future buyers look at this site before buying.
I dodged a bullet..heh.. bullet..pun intended...or not, anyways I know there are others who werent so lucky and approved their "transactions" but I do not recommend buying from them.

Check your local areas, your local gun shop is more than willing to work with you to find you the gun your really wanting.

I ordered a gun online from here and within 10 minutes and doing more research and finding the fraudulent reviews I emailed the place to cancel my order. They tried running my credit card 2 hours later which I denied and found out they tried to run my card for two other purchases for $1,200 on top of that. BIG TIME SCAM!

I ordered an AR type rifle from this POS named "Greg" and got scammed. My FFL never received the firearm and when I called the company the never returned my call. I tried to call my local FBI office but they were useless as I expected they would be and my bank was unable to retrieve my money back. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEB SITE, THEY ARE A SCAM! I also found out that these other web sites, "gunretails.com" and "discreetgunsales.com" are ALSO SCAMS. Do not order anything from them also.

Tried to purchase a Springfield XDM 10mm and they declined a CC that has TONS of capability on it. Then they said they wanted to be paid through Zelle - then they wanted $783 in "insurance" for shipping the pistol to the local FFL I always use. I told them to cancel the order and refund and they have gone dark. I have attempted to call their number and it is a Google Voice number same with their shipping number Ever Green shippers 323-347-1098. I am contacting ATF and FBI on this one. Stay away from this scam.

Also they use Zelle and an individual named Kain Baxter 307-254-4332

I purchased a revolver and was skeptical when at payment they did not ask for an FFL. I called and he said my card didn't go through, to use Zelle or PayPal. I replied that PayPal was illegal to purchase firearms. He said send it through family and friends. I told him to cancel my order.

15 minutes later my bank texted saying there was suspicious activity and closed my card, There was however a $134 charge to a WEB company that went through. I was refunded the money.

Do NOT deal with this online company!

Same story as people above. https://gun-ammos.com/ did steal my $409. I paid with Zelle and next he wanted me to pay more for insurance ($589) I asked for refund and he said then my rifle will send to Fire Arm Bureau. Please, do something to stop him. Voice of person from India is ripping you off. His phone number is 219-963-8581 and it is active and textable.

I bought a gun from these guys, over $1000. They sent me an email that said my card was declined. Credit card company said there was no attempt to make the charge. they wanted Zelle or paypal friends and family to some random name, neither of which has any fraud protection. Many red flags along the way. They didn't get anything from me, but I am keeping an eye on my accounts.

Stumbled across the website and found great prices; however, upon reflection there were far too many red flags. Website name is too close to the world famous "Guns & Ammo" magazine, I did not receive an email confirmation, they did they request my FFL during the transaction and the website appears incomplete. Long story short as noted above got a text claiming they had a "technical issue" and the credit card was blocked. Asked to process a Zelle or PayPal transaction instead. Called the credit card company and they said no attempt was made to run the card and it was not "on hold" as "Greg" had said. He ran the card again and it went through. When I asked how was he selling restricted items from California he said they used a warehouse in New Mexico and did not ship to CA residents. He seemed to have all the right answers. Said he would contact me the next day with all the shipping info but was not contacted. Charges appeared on my credit card as "Google LLC" (which is attributed to their music service). Bottom line, disputed the transaction, canceled the card and now awaiting to hear from them to ask what happened. Forming a posse now for some good 'ole "social justice".

Ordered online a $279 rifle. Looked as if sale went through but no one contacted me for shipping charges or who the ffl dealer to send item to was. I called and they stated my credit card was declined and I would have to pay them with PayPal’s friends and family program to an unknown yahoo email address. Called my credit card company no one attempted any charges on my account and it was good. Being suspicious because of the PayPal and credit card thing I again called hoping to speak with someone else. I was asked if I ordered from them, I gave the order number and was rushed off the phone. Person stated we are reviewing your order and will call you back then they hung up. It sounded like the person on the other end was supprised that someone was calling there gun shop. Sketchy group, I smell a scam.

- Barnstead, NH, USA

I purchased a firearm online from www.gun-ammos.com and they took my payment. Sent me a sale order number and even contacted me for information I needed. After 24hrs they contacted me and said my firearm was dropped off to be shipped out. Then 10 minutes later they contacted me again and said they needed $400 for insurance on the package which insurance never cost that much for a package. The sale price of the firearm was only $379. I asked for a refund and they said it would take three days. It has been over two weeks and still no refund and I was toldSince I didn’t purchase the insurance there’s nothing they could do for me and I cannot get my money back.
