i was "approved" for a loan but they needed to deposit an insurance cost and once repaid, the loan funds would be deposited into my account. i just needed to pay via applepay, it seemed odd so i looked them up and they are a scam.

Loan officer promised no upfront fees, just insurance fee that Growup Loans would pay for me. Ask me for account info and license while I wait on Growup loans to send me the insurance fee and I then return it to them by Cash App, Apple Pay, or Money transfer. However, I didn't realize until two days later that the insurance money was actually money from a claim disputed in the same amount of $366.70. So basically they filed a dispute on my behalf with my bank in which my bank gave me a temporary credit. The amount never came from GrowUp Loans but rather another company that had been paid.

I applied for a loan with Grow Up Loans. They took money out of my account without my permission. I never received any loan. I have tried to contact them but no response.
