On December 1, 2025, at 9:04:42 am, a transaction was authorized on my business debit card for $160.00. According to Wells Fargo, a card was tapped, and they gave a transaction ID. The merchant name was Greensboro Metropolitan, and, per the Wells Fargo investigation, it was classified as a charity/social services organization. (8398). The organization name does not exist in the public domain. I was at home on client calls until noon that day, with the calls documented. We have no record of this transaction, and WF investigated and provided transaction details. I am reaching out to the ScamPulse.com to see if any other businesses have reported issues with this organization. I have also contacted the City of Greensboro Finance Department about this charge, and they have no record of it.
