Called my mobile phone and left voicemail with website to visit to settle debt collection.

Went to website and entered my phone number it showed I owed over $10,000 to Bank of America. I haven’t had a B of A account in over 30 years

They called me and said I owed a debt for something, but wouldn't state what it was. They left a voicemail about the same thing. So I went to there website and tried to see what it was and they identified me by phone number instead of name. And then it asked if it was my name, which they spelled wrong. After that it sent me to a page that asked for the last 4 of my social security number.

Described an outstanding payment I had, said I was sent to collections. Only account I have is student loans and verified with my lender that I was okay they said I was good. They never said who they were looking for just told me to go to a website and set up a payment plan.

They call from several different numbers. I never call them back or go to the website. Since they never identify who they're looking for or what account they're referring to I'm sure it's some kind of scam.

"Company leaves message, no account # or identifying info, just a broken message saying something must be paid immediately. If you call back, it asks for personal info that a reputable company would already have.

Automated phone calls received stating money owed from settled account 10 plus years ago. Call the site, all automated. Used chat, broken English and no option to speak with someone. Asked for social number and phone number. Requested call back, automated voice mail saying you must pay online. Total scam.

Received a voicemail from someone stating a client has an account that's been overdue for far too long and I need to go to GOTOPCM.com to set up, at the least, monthly payments to resolve. She said they are debt collectors.
