Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I was first contacted via text by this company and I called the number that was in the text, and I asked for the person that was listed on the text: Steve Justice. The co worker who answered the phone did ask me to verify some of my information: my full name, my date of birth, which he had and told me, and recited my driver’s license number! He also started to tell me my social security number and just had me tell him the last 4 digits of my social security number, which I did. I then asked to talk with the man whose name was on the text message advertisement: Steve Justice. He told me I qualified for a $1000-5000 loan, which I did not remember applying for! Before we proceeded with the details of the loan, Mr Justice verified my details including my email address. Both Mr Justice and his co worker sounded East Indian in their accent. I told Mr Justice I only needed a $1000 loan. Mr Justice told me the monthly payment would be $100 and it would be a total of 12 months to pay the loan. He then verified my employment and my monthly income (I am retired and receive a pension and social security, some of this information he already had!) He said he knew that my credit score was low but that did not matter and I would definitely get this loan yet today. HOWEVER-there was a very strange catch: I was to get $100 in cash, take it to one of the following stores and ask for a “government voucher,” which his company sponsored: Walmart, Walgreens, CVS or Target. When I told him I couldn’t get to any of these stores as they were at least one hour away, plus I did not have $100-i could only get $40 (it was after banking hours) he told me no problem and I could take the $40 to my local grocery store to purchase this voucher-which he told me would be used to prove I was fiscally able to pay for this loan. He added that his supervisor would make up the $60 difference which I thought was odd too! Mr Justice told me to take the $40 to my local grocery store’s parking lot and to call him and he would then instruct me as to exactly how to go about obtaining this voucher and how to proceed to send it to his company. I wanted to check out his company further before I did this so I went to their website, which was blocked by a warning from Norton security on my phone! I did not proceed with this! I had asked Mr Justice for their web address so I could check them out and he told me he would text it to me-he did not! I called the company back and another co worker, also sounding East Indian, gave it to me.

My biggest concern is Mr Justice wanted my bank account information for the deposit and he has 2 of my online account numbers now! (But not user names or passwords, thankfully!) I will be most vigilant in making sure nothing is stolen from those accounts!!!

I had same experience.I had a different person to call and talk/I did go to Walgreens/near my house /thought it was strange that they put money in my account and then take out.
I was told I would have my loan by 8 am/I called numerous times/finally I was told my credit score was too low.They wanted me to do same this this morning /realized it was a scam after reading your account.I decided not to go to a my store because it is not safe to get out in morning at dark.
Their phone calls were blocked and listed as Potential Fraud.
This morning I get a text don’t know how went through because their number was blocked.It read I was to be charged a $199 cancellation fee
I will report them to Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection Agency
