On March 8, 2024, Neil Johnson (813-435-6048) called, telling me that he has large corporation clients who need vacation rentals for thousands of conference participants. I told him I had a bad experience with another company that promised the same but couldn’t rent out any of my weeks. He said his company is different and successful. He is a full-time sales executive busy renting out hundreds of properties every month. He guaranteed that mine would be rented within a month. In addition, once my properties are rented out, the legal team in his company will get my contract with the other company canceled and make them issue me a full refund of what I paid them.

I was requested to provide a minimum of 4 vacation weeks, and I must pay GMS Offers $299 for each week upfront. They would rent the week out for $1,600-$1,800 and then send me the profit after they get paid. So, for 4 weeks, I paid them $1,196.
However, I have never heard from Neil Johnson again. Despite my many phone calls and requests, I have never received the unique member login and password granting me access to my rental advertising account on GMSOffers.com. I never saw my property being advertised on their website.

Since GMSOffers.com took my money, nobody from GMSOffers.com has ever contacted me, even once. They always ignore my request for a refund. Nobody has answered my calls since October 2024 (800-857-2091). Neil Johnson's call was out of service a long time ago.

It was a very organized. They transferred me to various people throughout the process and for payment. They sent me e-documents to sign. I usually don’t fall for this stuff. They had me look up their website and there was nothing bad to notify me online about this company. They were posing as a middle man to sell timeshare for me that I wasn’t gonna be using.

April Adams said I had 12 getaway weeks thru Interval and Marriot time shares that I could rent out through GMS corporate rentals (they said are part of Interval) as they were in high demand for 1600 to 1800 a week. Wanted to send contract but needed my credit card in advance to charge 390 a week (about 4900) to pay for admin etc. expenses. I would be paid within 3 days of each rental closing. She was very professional and had all the answers without hesitating. Everything was explained, even after I questioned things several times. I am smarter than this and I am ashamed I fell for it. I agreed to 5 weeks at $399 per and they charged my credit card for $1995. I heard all about timeshares keep raising maintenance fees, etc. This is all legal. These people need to be stopped.

I called Interval and they said it was a known scam and Getaway weeks are purchased not accumulated or awarded so I would not have “banked” unused weeks. In examining their website it is a staged site with incorrect information about the time shares posted. There home office in Wyoming does not exist. Calls came out of Florida.

April Adams of GMS Offers called and said I had 12 getaway weeks thru Interval International and Marriot time shares that I could rent out through GMS corporate rentals (they said are part of Interval) as they were in high demand for 1600 to 1800 a week. Wanted to send contract but needed my credit card in advance to charge 399 a week (about 2000) to pay for admin etc. expenses. I would be paid within 3 days of each rental closing. I was told they rent these weeks out to corporations for retreats, business conventions, etc. Rental usually happens within 60-90 days. I signed a contract and gave them my Discover card number. My card was charged immediately. I was "guaranteed" $1600 per week, possibly more so a total of $8000. Still I should have recognized this as a scam. I have been losing sleep over this and finally started checking further and discovered it was definitely a scam. I am going to attempt to get my money back through my credit card.

Again, we thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. I would like to clarify a few points regarding our services and your agreement with GMS Offers.

Firstly, at no point did GMS Offers state that we are affiliated with Interval International. This is explicitly mentioned in the verification recording, to which you agreed. During this recording, it was clearly stated that we are not associated with your timeshare or any banking and exchange group. Your acknowledgment and agreement were recorded as part of our standard verification process.

Furthermore, you signed our agreement, which details the marketing and advertising services we provide. Our website operates as a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, specializing in advertising.
