I was contacted by Global Dropoffs Agency (shipper) and informed my shipment was registered and gave me the tracking information. Later that day, I received another email from the shipper stating that shipment was put on hold pending a refundable insurance deposit of 150.00.
At this point, I contacted the seller and told him the shipper was asking for $150 for insurance on the package. I asked him to refund my money for the product and he said he could not refund my money because it was already registered and transferred to a shipping company and it was my responsibility to pay for coverage to have it shipped and reminded me that it was refundable. I had not told him they said the insurance amount was refundable. I asked him for his address and he told me the information was on the tracking and I could check it. All that was listed was Florida.
I called the number listed on the Global Dropoffs Agency website but didn't get an answer. They called back within minutes and I asked to have the package shipped without coverage and they said it was that it was against company policy. I asked for the address of the shipper and they told me to ask him. I asked the shipping company for their address and all they would give me was Miami, Florida.
I contacted the seller again and told him that his address wasn't on the tracking and that the shipper wouldn't give me any information. He told me he was in Tampa, Florida.
