Scammers hacked my cousins Instagram account to tell a lie about an opportunity with bitcoin mining.
With an investment of $400 get back $20,500
With an investment of $500 get back $35,000
With an investment of $1000 get back $41,200
With an investment of $2000 get back $55,000
While I was skeptical, I had what I thought was my cousin, messaging me the whole time telling me about how it was such an amazing opportunity and she was about to be financially free.
Meanwhile, the scammer was messaging me from coach_taylorstea_fx on Instagram. I purchased $400 of bitcoin through the Cash App and sent it to what I thought was my wallet address. After a few hours my profits of $20,500 showed up on my account profile but in order to get the payments out I was told I would have to invest another $1500 of bitcoin. This is when I started to get skeptical and ultimately realized I was being scammed.
