The person by Samantha Ray called me several times states that she has a current civil suit against me and if I don't pay the debt today I will get served and picked up by the local law enforcement. She called my brother which made me suspicious because I never talk to him and stated that she wanted to know did I know him and she wanted a reference. I called them several times they were unprofessional and I got suspicious. The lady on the phone was very nervous speaking but being demanding wanting my credit card information. She didn't have the correct information from HSBC stating they were the debt collector. I called HSBC and called the correct company that has bought the account. The person stated that I have a debt of $598 and I can pay the $298 and it will stop them from coming to pick me up from work and arresting me.
