I was looking for a teacup puppy for sale and I was on Facebook. I found a company that actually had a site guaranteeing a puppy for $600 and a one-time flat rate of $150. The company showed reviews and everything. I ordered the teacup Maltipoo named Davy. He was supposed to be 10 weeks old. I made the purchase afterward I got a business text message through Facebook from Frank and Rose pups. They said I would only have to pay $300 (half of the puppy cost) and a flat shipping fee of $150. I sent through Zelle. Then I wouldn’t have to pay the other $300 until i got confirmation from the shipping company that everything was all set. I got the email guaranteeing that the puppy would be at my house the next day November 2, 2023, by 3:15 PM. So, I paid the other $300.00 using Zelle again. Tracking number REF907244431. Shipping company was glowexpress. Even gave me a tracking number. I also got an email from shipping company at 9:38pm on the 1st. Stating my puppy was in Missouri (transit point) but will not be able to proceed shipping due to the pet insurance needed. That my puppy was a C- Third class pet breeds requires a REFUNDABLE insurance fee of $999.99. Out of that payment 98% would be refundable upon delivery of my pet. So was upset and scared so I was texting with Frank and Rose pups and they told me I had to pay them. I told them I didn’t have that kind of money and they basically said I need to find it! Kept telling me that they work with this shipping company all the time and they will definitely give me the money back as soon as I received my puppy. So, I sent the money $999.99 through Zelle. The next morning, I woke up to say that they didn’t get the insurance processed in time, so they had to change the flight and I had to pay $415 for a new plane ticket. So, I did because they said with insurance, I would get it all back. On the 2nd of November 2023, they wrote me and said they needed to pay an extra $500 for a pet crate because it had to be safe. So, I had to pay the money, but I would get 95% back with my insurance refund upon delivery of the puppy. So again, I did. Now I don’t have this money so I had to go to friends and family and beg for this money guaranteeing them that they would get it back once the puppy was delivered. So again, I sent the money through Zelle. Flight had to change again but I didn’t have to pay for the new flight. This is because when I went to send the money from my bank zelle said I could only send $85.01 because I met the limit of money, I could send in one day. But I did make the remaining balance of $415 right after but it wouldn’t clear till after midnight. It said Monday on it but I told them it would be after midnight this was all 20 mins before the puppy was supposed to be put on the plane at 9pm. So they told me they would have to hold the puppy until the money clears even though it was in the process to their account, and it was already out of my account. So, I wrote them first thing in the morning showing them that the money now says it would clear that day! They took forever to look into it. Meanwhile I’m still talking to Frank and Rose telling them of my concerns. They told me the puppy was safe and even had the company send him and i video of the puppy in the crate. Telling me see he is okay. After this they told me everything should be okay, and they will make final checklist and puppy will be delivered today. The shipping company than wrote me and said that during the vet check the puppy needed a dewormer vaccine. So, I now have to pay for the vet and the vaccine before they will send the puppy but guaranteed me that this would be my final payment!! So, I paid the $720.00 through Zelle. Right before the puppy was supposed to be on the plane, they wrote me again!! Now they needed $890.00 for an Import-Export License to proceed with shipping and ONLY a through CashApp! I said no. I didn’t have it I was broke. Reminded that they told me the last payment would be the last. They didn’t care said they will hold the puppy until it’s paid. If not, I’m going to be charged more money if delayed. I told them I don’t have it you're not getting another penny. They told me I had 24 hrs to pay or else! Well today Sunday November 5th, 2023, I received an email stating that the puppy is still under the supervision of the company for the last four days without any accurate communication from me!!! Then said if it’s not paid the puppy will be considered as abandoned and will be quarantined. I will be charged with animal cruelty which goes on about fines and imprisonment. I don’t have any money so I can’t give them what I don’t have. I shouldn’t have to. I was guaranteed a puppy for $750.00 total from the company, which I remind you they got all of the money. Now I’ve paid the shipping company $2634.99 a company I didn’t hire? I have no contract with. Nothing that actually guarantees me all my money back. A total of $3384.99 gone and no puppy! Now they are threatening me because I won’t pay, can’t pay another $890!! Crazy!
