I was contacted by a person who had a name and picture of a friend on Facebook through messenger, I asked who I thought was a friend if she had a new account and she replied that her other account had some kind of virus or something, gave me a link 🔗 that was supposed to go to an attorney for a grant to get money to seniors and disabled people like myself I told Frances Duncan that I was a Disabled Vietnam Veteran I'm 66 yrs old and she said good and than wanted me to fill out some kind of form in which I didn't, I decided to check it out and came across this, I took screenshots of all messages between Frances Duncan and myself and I took screenshots of all messages from this so call friend and myself which I have in close

I was contacted by MS Thorpe a work friend who gave me the link for a government grant. The link took me to MS Duncan who showed a Government ID and took my personal information along with a copy of my SCDL. I contact MS Thorpe to thank her and she said she had been hacked. After finding that out, i found out that if I paid them my application will be approved . I had been scam. I found MS Duncan on Facebook she works for FED-X. She has not responded to my messages.

My friend's profile was hacked. I received a message from my friend about covid 19 Federal Grant money for people who are disabled. After texting with Frances Duncan, who has my name, phone number, home address and email address, I realized this was a scam.
Still receiving messages from Frances Duncan, I finally blocked it.

This morning I was surprised to hear from an old college friend out of the blue. After normal chit chat, whoever this "NON FRIEND" was started asking me about IDA and Francis Duncan. I immediately looked into it and found out that this is a scam. I don't know where else I can report this but this is such a shame that people think that they can take advantage of good, hard working people for their benefit.

cards as they suggested, so off i go to get cards for money, the Manager would not let me have the card unless l could prove why l was getting it., so we sent for the police, turned out it was this scam, my friend had been hacked. thank you lord Jesus for the Deforest store manager and Deforest police. for saving my bacon today..

This scam was verified by 3 of my friends and changed communication to them on hangouts so that the chats were more personal as they claimed that there messenger accounts had been. We fell for it hook line and sinker. We keep getting promised that if we pay this we will receive 2 million house property and 2 vehicles. They are still asking for the final 4700 payments. Which we will never receive. Wish I would have checked out Frances Duncan sooner. First started with another agent then we where hacked then she took over.

Someone contacted me pretending to be my grandmother. I knew immediately it was fake because I went to the profile and it was barren and there was only 2 images stole from my grandma's actual account. So with that in mind I decided to play along and see what this imposter would say. They immediately began to ask if I had heard about this new UN Covid-19 Compensation Program and that she had already applied and won $100,000. I played dumb, and she then brought up Frances Duncan, and provided a link to "privately speak with her". Then after I she was done, I reported the account and told them "You are not very good at impersonating people..." to which they promptly deleted the account haha

I was texted by a trusted friend this morning. The communication by Messenger seemed strange but obviously the scammer knew enough about my friend and me that I trusted her. The scammer sent a link for Frances Duncan and information about free grants administered by NIH and told me she had done it and got $150, 000 in cash. I entered the link to ask about the grant and was told that I needed to answer some questions first. I answered some of the questions but got more and more uncomfortable and stated I wanted to withdraw my application. I was told there would be a cancellation fee and I stated I had not been informed of any fees and would not pay a fee. I then revived a messenger phone call. A man with a clipped British accent told me to calm down. He then repeated the cancellation fee. I ended the call. And then someone messenger me that I owed a fee. I again stated I would not pay it. It is believed that the scammer may be an X husband of a niece. He had known aggressive tendencies and has been known to continue to hurt my niece.
