Cold called trying to update our company information. Discovered they send company's webpage link to undisclosed websites for backlinks. When pressed for more information, they hung up.

SEO Scam. I am the company's web master. Received a call a couple of weeks ago, unsolicited. Was told by the person on the phone that she had my complimentary SEO report completed and she was going to send it to me. There was no mention of cost whatsoever. I told her I had not requested an SEO report but she could send it to me since it was complimentary. Gave her my name and address so she could send the report to me. I received a document (dated 10/3/2016) on 3/16/16 (about a week later) with a cover page and two pages with virtually no information on them. A week later an invoice in the amount of $987.00 was delivered to our Accounts Payable department for 3 months of Technical Reports and a few miscellaneous services, none of which were were requested or agreed to.
