Received the same letter via fax. Sophisticated criminal operation because they built a fake law firm website (actually multiple versions of the website at different domain names) to make it look like legit.

Just got this in the mail - "The transaction pertains to an unclaimed "Life Insurance Policy" ("LIP") savings monetary deposit in the sum of Eleven Million, Five Hundred & Fifty Thousand, and Three Hundred United States Dollars ($11,550,300.00)."
On plain copy paper (I have never dealt with ANY lawyer/attorney who uses plain copy paper as a letterhead), with the address of P.O. Box 226
Toronto, ON M5K 1J3
Canada.
